"My Mother’s has had her homeowners policy with StateFarm since 1986 which is unheard of these days. She just renewed her policy and they went up over 100% on her homeowners policy. Of course she’s 89 years old and living on SSI which makes her little COLA increase in December look very sad. I have seen where insurance companies are having record breaking years of late and now I understand why. They are sticking it to every person who still thinks loyalty means anything. Being a customer for almost 40 years means nothing to corporate America. The sad thing about this story is the value of her home is only insured for ~ 80k with a 5% deductible. I’m thinking about dropping it all and paying myself the premiums. She shouldn’t be paying $2184.00 a year for 80k of homeowners insurance. That’s more than my policy and I have 4 times the coverage. The only good side to this story is the lady who takes care of Mothers policy is trying to get it lowered but that comes with less coverage and she doesn’t have much to begin with. After almost 40 years it looks like it’s time for Mother to shop around."

"Customer service is fine, but this office is entirely incapable of processing payments correctly. I have been with state farm since 2014 and never had issues like this office has. If you go with state farm, i don't recommend this office if you want your bill to actually be processed."
